Biography

Gabriel Moreau is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice examines the conditions of contemporary image culture and the accelerated circulation of digital media. Through dense, immersive compositions, his work explores how images detach from narrative and original context, prioritizing sensation, affect, and consumption over readability. Drawing parallels between digital image degradation and the endless dissemination of online content, Moreau approaches images as unstable objects shaped by repetition, compression, and excess. His work has been exhibited internationally in London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Montreal, including solo and group exhibitions at JPS Gallery, Toxic Arts Gallery, and OHSH projects. He is set to graduate Goldsmith’s MFA Program in July, 2026.
